Join me Tonight: For The Love Of Learning

Three months ago I was honored when Laine, from "For the Love of Learning" asked me to be on her show to discuss 2E kids.   2E kids are Twice Exceptional children who are those most often that are left behind in main stream and even alternative schooling.    These are children that are "disabled" and yet also exceptionally gifted.

In a world where the education system endeavors to push every child through the same cookie cutter model, so many truly amazing and exceptional children are left floundering in the storm because they are just not cookie cutter material.  They think outside the box and live in a world where desks and schedules are an alien concept.   Because the vast majority of teachers, doctors and even parents cannot identify with these "misfits", they are often misdiagnosed as "trouble makers"  "rebellious" or even "stupid"...... and  then of course, drugged insensible in an effort to make them conform to society's mold.

Tonight on For The Love Of Learning, we will be digging into the topic and shedding some light on the brilliance of these children, helping the world to understand that while they dance to a different drum, their light is almost blinding in it's brightness.

Tonight is going to be an exceptionally busy night for me, lol.
